PINC Exercise Classes

Exercise should be prescribed to all cancer patients as a part of routine care.

If you are receiving treatment for Cancer or have undergone treatment in the past and you are not currently achieving the minimum of 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise along with 2-3 resistance exercise sessions per week, let our PINC cancer rehabilitation Physiotherapist help get you started.  

All cancer treatments have an impact on the body.  Our role as Physiotherapists will be to advise on what can be done to help overcome the impact that the treatments have had on the body and maximize recovery.

Both our directors, Libby Oldfield and Gen McGlashan, have achieved fellowship of the Australian College of Physiotherapists (FACP) – both in 2010 – and are therefore recognised as Specialist Physiotherapists.

There are only 9 Specialist Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapists in Australia.

A Clinical Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Specialist Physiotherapist is skilled at assessing difficult and complex Physiotherapy problems, particularly those that have not responded to previous treatment. Our Specialist Women’s Men’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapists, Gen McGlashan and Libby Oldfield, work with other physiotherapy practitioners both at Fitwise and other practices to help you get the optimal results from your management and treatment.
