It is estimated that the number of new cases of Cancer diagnosed in Australia is set to rise to 150,000 by 2020, and 1 in 3 Australian women will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of Cancer-related deaths in Australian women. With these kinds of statistics, we understand that our valued Fitwise clients, their friends and/or family may be affected by Cancer at some stage in their lives.

During the month of October, the National Breast Cancer Foundation aims to raise money for this worthwhile charity through the Pink Ribbon Breakfast. This year they aim to raise aims to raise $1.5 million to fund research into the effective prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer. This much needed research has the potential to save thousands of lives.
