1 in 4 women & 1 in 10 men suffer incontinence

Problems with bladder and/or bowel control (incontinence) are not age or gender specific.
The main risk factors associated with incontinence are:

  • pregnancy
  • childbirth
  • menopause
  • chronic straining of the bowels
  • frequent urinary tract infections
  • prostate problems
  Pelvic floor concerns/education

But incontinence is avoidable.

 

Physiotherapists provide a non-surgical approach to manage or even cure continence problems.
